PMDG NGX SP1 : check before install...

Just a personnal comment

Update : I just reinstalled the aircraft, followed by the SP1. Everything is all right now, as smooth as before. Installing the SP1 over the several hotfixes was a bad idea.
But, taking a look at PMDG's forum, i saw that some people are complaining about the SP1. Some of them are even experiencing crash to desktop. The SP1 was supposed to fix this. Dom.
New update 10/31 / very smooth aircraft tonight on my last flight from Paris CDG to London city.

If the CTD happened because FSX overloaded and an "Out of Memmory CTD" occured it is not an PMDG issue as it is a hard limitation of FSX as its specs were exeeded. You can't program that away or recode it. Maybe Xplane 10 with a 64 bit exe will solve this problem as much much more memory could be addressed. Another panel freeze would be another thing. But they were almost eliminated with hf4.

Yeah sure, you can say it is a FSX problem, but not a PMDG problem, but it does crash when the PMDG NGX is loaded. Not when my Captain Sim 757 is loaded. Hence it is a NGX problem.

I am finding the same problem. Running the same payware addon scenery and traffic with other aircraft on FSX I have no crashes on my new Core I7 high end computer. As soon as I load up PMDGs 737NGX, my game freezes after a minute or two and then crashes. Something on this plane overloads the average system and it's not good.
