after so long saying that there will be, and now apparently there is no confirmation of an FS2004.. what kind of communication is this company doing because they say yes to later say maybe or perhaps no. not nice. hope they can feel the pain in the sales....
Umm, they never said there will definitely be one. They did say, and I quote, "this will be our last FS9 product if we choose to make an FS9 version." (something along those lines).
Bought it with another scenery and got a discount. It looks awesome, performance with MD11 and Megascenery Socal is nice. Transparent glass looks excellent. A true step ahead from Dallas.
those who are blind supporters of FSDT care to answer how on earth is anyone supposed to pay 27 euros or more than 35 dollars just for one FS version? I would kindly pay it, if I get FS2004 but for just FSX? this is more than any other company for a scenery!!! too much money. if FSDT self proclaim itself as the DREAM TEAM of scenery design, why is it so hard for this all star team to make two FS versions when dozens of developers can convert?
Ok sorry, i will not publish the last comment received (N°7). I will not encourage this steril and neverending dispute between FSX/FS9. And i am always reluctant to publish attacks from anonymous... Usual FSX simmers will find FSdreamteam KLAX as a wonderful scenery. There are several new technologies. The framerate is rather smooth on my quadcore 2,33 ghz. I understand why some of us are still flying on FS9. But i don't understand some terrorists attitudes like... monopolizing the votes on a FS9/FSX poll. Or repudiating developers that have been flattered. Dom
Great scenery, great FPS. Great price. Well done FSDT! You have the biggest airport in North America and you're complaining about 27 Euro! Grow up and get a modern computer. FS9 is over with, long ago.
It is by far not the biggest airpoert of North America. That is Atlanta with over 90 million passengers. And it is not 27 Euros, but meager 33 Euros tax included.
I think FSDT prefers to still sell the cloud9 FS2004 version rather than spending time doing KLAX v2 for FS2004. I also think that the Cloud9 version is awesome as it is... if you want more get FSX, but then again, FSX is overrated and even perhaps FSDT itself is a bit overrated as this scenery....
its seems FSDT is considering seriously to do the fs9 version... hooray! apparently the sales are not as good as they hoped.. of course we fs9 users are still a lot! that must send a message to other developers too! FS2004 is not DEAD!!
If MS Flight turns out to be a turkey, Which is possible from what we have read recently. What will you FS9 guys do? Stay with FS9 or maybe consider FSX.

Its not that great. I've tried the demo & am very disappointed. The ground textures are appallingly amateur. The FPS sucks so much too.
FS9 guys you are missing nothing. I preferred the Cloud version.

I suggest you wake up and smell the roses, go out and buy a computer from THIS century and you will finally understand that........... FS9 is DEAD OK
