August 2010/2011 : market zoom

After 8 months of consolidated datas, year 2011 is still promising. August was a rather good month but with uneven quality.

August 2011/2010 :

In August 2010, we had 0 products for FS9 only,
5 products for FSX only and 3 for both versions.

In August 2011, we have 1 products for FS9 only,
8 products for FSX only and 4 for both versions.

Production raise is significant but quality uneven :
Great airports releases : Fly Tampa Athens, Eiresim Luton, Orbx Fall City or Drzewiecki Design EKRN. But a lot of botched VFR sceneries too...

Protocol :
This short study is limited to payware (15 € and more), is based on sceneries released on Simmarket (who gives precise release dates). We add Orbx and FSDT products. (It's only about payware and scenery-airports or detailed ground textures. There are no mesh).
We would like to add Simaddons and Earth Sim sceneries as soon as they can mention a release date on their products.
