FSX. Earth Simulations is about to release Guernsey island. A masterpiece from what we have seen on the last screenshots.
Guernsey is a small english island Between french Britain and Normandy. The scenery will also include Herm and Sark islets.
Guernsey airport is not so small. With a runway lenght of 4,880 feets, there is enough space for a B-737.

The scenery without doubt belongs to the finest gems what you can get for fsx grahically(screenshot website).

Bought it and the propblems started.
You cannot really download the scenery as they make you believe on their website. All you download and save to your desktop is a 1,6MB installer file that ennables you connect to their server that loads the files to a Earthsim directory in an inscrutable chaotic order.
You don't get "ONE .RAR. OR .ZIP" file that you can save on your computer for future installations. Instead everytime you have a problem you have to CONNECT TO THEIR SERVER and from there you can try to repair or deinsatll the files completely.
Having downloaded for 4 hours the simulator crashed when trying to load their scenery.(I/920@3,8/ATI 5870,6GB Win7)
Testing other locations than Guernsey the simulator crashed, too. Not a single flight was possible anymore. Deactivated the scenery in the library leeded to a crash, too.
Completely reinstalled Guernsey the simulator worked again ,but now several items did not work any more. Having Problems with ENbseries ,limiter and suddenly appearing black triangles.
To me it looks like they go deep in the structure of fsx and mess several important files that even after a COMPLETE REINSTLL are not in the same condition as BEFORE.
I I wanted to install it another time I would have to loed it again for 4 hours knowing that not one issue is resolved that crashes the simulator.
I understand that developers have to protect their work but this is just ridiculous and extremely annoying. Would have been better
to loose some software to thiefs than completely ruinning the relationship
between the paying customer and the seller.
I will never buy a product from them again.
By the way costs more than a MEGA AIRPORT .About 31 Euros. Not inexpensive.
i have had the same problem completely screwed my day off 14hrs i was trying to fix fsx in the end i had to uninstall and re install everything all over again?
NOT Happy . However once it did work for a while brilliant very good but then the trees went then the buildings vanished and could not get them back ? try a fix online repair i did this and bingo 14hrs later still not working well unhappy left messages no-one has tried to contact me with a fix .NOW apart from that they have been brilliant help in the past with alderney and the St marys maybe they are busy trying to sort it out .so lets not moan just yet people but they should not sell it till its working on windows 7 systems i wait to see what happens now ?
