The battle of the tiny yellow people

After PeopleFlow (Orbx), FSDreamteam strikes back with Ground Service X (GSX). FSDT, a couple of weeks ago, claimed that animated people was already mastered for a long time but this technology (consisting of synchronized virtual hundreds of bones) needed some precise purposes. GSX will offer marshallers, baggage loaders,  refueling, catering, follow-me cars and trucks. According to the american designer, "all these animated objects are perfectly integrated with YouControl and ParkMe features". Updated march 2.

Teared apart between PeopleFlow and GSX, AES (distributed by Aerosoft) seems very lonely now, but when there is no any clear strategy and willingness, competitors are never too far... GSX will be implemented for free on all new FSDT airports. The war of tiny yellow men can begin and the arbitrator will be aircrafts manifacturers. This new implemented utility is a major bonus on airport and no doubt il will boost sceneries selling. With this new fonctionnality, FSDR has also clearly managed to integrate all airport services, not only maintenance but also animated jetways.
Now that we know about GSX, that partly explains why KLAX has been delayed. FSDT was working on three different fields. We might even thing that FSDT is investigating a fourth field. Miami ?

This article is updated march 2 : What i called virtual is not totally appropriate. I should use the term " vertex-skinned animations". And the interesting thing about this technology is that it is FSX native. That's why FS 2004 will not have the privilege to see these new features on FS 2004. Imagine in six months, fully equiped airports with these new automated people around taxiways, at gate, even passengers waiting a regional turboprop to get onboard and you might predict hard days for this plat-form. Unless someone is capable to emulate this vertex-skinned technology...
