Orbx announcing Cushman meadows


Orbx is working on a new extension area for FTX Pacific Northwest (PNW). The covered area is in north-west of Olympia and 60 km from Tacoma airport. The scenery will include Cushman meadows, lake Cushman and the fictionnal small airfield of Cushman meadows (KCMW).
John Venema, Orbx CEO, has released today some 24 screenshots. Ground imagery will be of 25 to 60 cm/pixel, there will be new type of vegetation, some custom general aviation AI traffic and most of all perhaps, PeopleFlow animations. The product is a payware and of course you need PNW. The only thing not mentionned is the exact surface coverage. Apparently, the original idea comes from Bill Womack, who worked in the past with Francois "Navman" on various flight sim projects....
