Jorge Chavez SPIM Intl under scanner

Not easy to make Lima Intl SPIM. This airport melts an up-to-date international terminal with all kind of dilapidated hangars. There is also this change of ground textures around the runway, green on one side, brown on the other one. On this heterogeneous place, LatinVFR almost made a miracle in less than a hundred days. Considering designing technology itself, i did not discover any breakthrough ; there are plenty of photoreal textures, some on ground, some on buildings and objects.../.
I specialy appreciated the lights around the gateways (they are just perfect, not too dark, nor to bright and they are very effective on ground textures). Hangars are very tricky to design. As they usually show no too many relevant details, they look like FS 2000 boxes (not to mention Blueprint Sim hangars) but here, we see rippled roofs, shadows textures, inner hangars textures etc. SPIM was amongst the very awaited and acclaimed airports by simmers. And LatinVFR did it. There are also an impressive quantity of autogen around the airport and Lima, the port and the mesh that bring out the montains all around. Whatever your destination, north, south or east toward Cuzco, La Paz and Sucre, Lima has becomen an unavoidable step. And at night, is hallucinating...

Hi Mason,

Thanks so much for taking your time doing this and even though I am the one who designed it, I enjoy reading stuff that I made, you are a wonderful writer, even when is not your language.

Just one thing, there are charts,

just go to FS/Addon Scenery/LatinVFR/Lima_SPIM/Docs

there are all there.. that's why we put it on the product page, we can't offer something we don't do, in this case we offered and placed it..

as always a loyal fan of your blog...
