FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. Mathijs from Aerosoft has just posted some more preview images of work completed last week. The shots are obviously work in progress and he makes mention of the fact that this product will have a high level of detail that will be matched by aircraft systems. Aerosoft's CRJ is being built as a much more hardcore product than their Airbus Extended, the development team having added a lot of additional software, interactive checklists etc., features that are linked to the aircraft and its systems, though at present we don't have anymore details about how these will look in the product itself.

BluePrint Denver Released! YESSS!!!!!
FS9/FSX. Finally! What we have been needing is a proper Denver airport and BluePrint is delivering it to us featuring highly detailed, full-3D models as represented in BluePrint’s ultimate True3D technology! Sounds like some very advanced stuff indeed!! The scenery also includes every gate available at each of the three concourses.
Each gate is accurately numbered and equipped with a static jetway! Because static jetways are by far the best option for today's simmer! BluePrint’s KDEN scenery also depicts the runway and taxiway complex
superimposed on a set of high-resolution, custom-made terrain textures
positioned as accurately as it is possible in the flight simulator environment! We'll it just can't possibly get any better than this! It is sure to blow away any future competition! And it will pair great with your Abacus or AFS Design A320 and A350! Sweet!

New AA livery... I'll pass.
Rant. Not that I am a big fan of American. I have flown the airline dozens of times and on a service perspective, I feel US based air carriers fall very short of their Asian and Middle East counterparts like Cathay, Singapore etc. I realize the new American Airlines livery is growing on many people and whereas I am a firm advocate of a transition from the older AA livery which has been around for way too long in my opinion, the new livery is just not growing on me.

CoolSky/McPhat Fokker 50 First Cockpit Render!
FSX. If you are like me and like your 'fan blades' on the outside of the engine, this is a glorious time! With Razbam's Metroliner and EMB-120, Aerosoft's Twin Otter Extended, the Majestic Q400, Milviz's King Airs and the Carenado 1900D, we are really spoilt for choice and there is plenty for us turboprop fans to keep busy with. While progress has been kept mostly under wraps with the CoolSky/McPhat Fokker, it is obvious that work continues as they've given us the first complete cockpit render that I am aware of. If McPhat's X-Plane ATR is any indication of what to expect, then this one should be pretty sweet! And lest we forget, the DC-9 was no slouch either!

And The Next Irish Airport Is......?
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. Now that Orbx have released their FTX EU Ireland Scenery, it would be wonderful if we could have some original high-quality airports to populate at least some of the over 70,000 sq km Irish countryside that's delivered by Orbx's latest release. I realise that Aerosoft is going to soon be publishing a new Mega Airport Dublin that's been in development for over a year, but other than that, there doesn't seem to be anything else in the pipeline......yet.

Orbx EGTF Fairoaks Very Close To Final Beta!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. This news just in...Orbx scenery wizard, Heiko Glatthorn, has just posted some new screenshots of his latest project, EGTF Fairoaks, along with an update that preparations are underway to build the final beta installer. This is really fantastic, as it means the release isn't far off, and with Christmas just over a week away now, the chances are very good for a release by then.

Introducing: Motion For Simulators!
[FS Hardware] Let's face it, owning a fully automated motion simulator is expensive. No doubt about it hands down. Besides this, motion simulators are typically large and are not conducive to the average house, condo or apartment. But what if you could get a fully operational high quality motion simulator without breaking the bank and at the size of the desk space you are sitting at right now? From large home cockpit builders to the little guy wanting more than a static desk, this new Belgian company offers options that are fully customization for your space and needs. Introducing Motion For Simulators!

Video - Twotter STOL Practice At 98TE Hilltop OR!
P3Dv2. It's been a while since I've flown around Oregon, and with Misha's 5S Vernonia Municipal airport being close to release over at Orbx, I decided to spend some time back at his superb rendition of 98TE Hilltop Airport. The 1040 ft. long strip is just 4 miles west of Glide in Douglas County, Oregon, and, as the name already suggests, is conveniently located on top of a hill. Of course the "conveniently" really depends on what type of aircraft you intend to operate out of there, as the margin for error is absolutely minimal.

New Orbx 05S Vernonia Winter Screenshots!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. As Orbx get ready to wrap up FTX Global VECTOR, so too is Misha wrapping up beta testing of his stunning 05S Vernonia Municipal airport. Apparently the seasons are now complete and testing almost so too. Misha has included a few extra shots of a small bonus airstrip, 30OR Bero Field, a small private airport located 5 miles northeast of Vernonia.

More New Flightbeam Studios KDEN Screenshots!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. Mir of Flightbeam Studios has posted some new screenshots, this time showing a special highlight of his KDEN development, the walkway from the Jeppesen Terminal to Concourse A. The Jeppesen Terminal is named after aviation safety pioneer Elrey Jeppesen, and is on the land side of the airport, giving road traffic access to the airport directly off of Peña Boulevard, which in turn is fed by Interstate 70 and E-470.

LH Simulations' LHBP Prepar3D v2 Installer Update!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. We have some news from our friends at LH Simulations in Hungary. They encountered some minor issues while testing the Prepar3D v2 installer and this has delayed things slightly. As you can all surely appreciate, they don't want to release something that will need patching straight away, even if that means not being able to deliver the new installer quite as quickly as they would have liked to.

PMDG 777-300ER: new shot!
FSX. With all the good news surrounding PMDG announcing their future move to Prepar3D, it's high time to head back and have a look at the progress on the continued 777 project. At present, the 777 is PMDG's most successful product to date and as I am sure Rob would tell you, it's also their most proud. The 777 good as it is, is not done yet! The 300ER is currently in development and we have 2 screenshots to show! Will they get it out in time for Santa to deliver all his goods? We'll see! On a side note, with having personally only discovered the FS9 PMDG 737, I am really looking forward to some fun time with the 777 and NGX in P3D. Oh wait. Did I say fun in P3D? No I didn't mean to say that! I meant to say, learning time. Yeah. Let's go with that. Whew!

Orbx FTX Global 1.20 Patch Available Now!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. There have apparently been some issues with the FTX Global 1.10 build not overwriting some of the default textures correctly, especially in Prepar3D v2. This patch fixes that issue and also contains some new updated vector poly textures.

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand...
FSX/P3D. Cities. They are becoming more and more of a staple of flight simming. After all, an approach is only as good as the scenery surrounding it. Cities as it seems are getting bigger and bigger in FS and Greece will be no exception. The latest preview from Emil on the Thessaloniki project clearly displays just how much blood and sweat is going into this project. Now this is one approach I am deffo looking forward to flying over! Great stuff! We will have some ADX exclusives along soon so stay tuned!

Paulo Ricardo's Mega São Paulo v2 Available Now!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. Having completed Mega Rio earlier on this year, Paulo Ricardo has now released his latest project, the Mega São Paulo v2 upgrade. São Paulo is Brazil's main financial centre and the most populous city on the American continent. For this upgrade, Paulo has added many custom 3D buildings for Santos, Guarujá and Praia Grande, has reconstructed the texture mesh of Serra do Mar, increased the ground mesh south of São Paulo to Sorocaba city, and inserted Orbx FTX Global night lighting.

Released - Orbx's Ireland Scenery Now Available!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. Just in time for some weekend flying over the Irish countryside, Orbx have released their Ireland scenery. I'm wondering if Orbx plan to release a whole British Isles version, since the original Australia Blue, Gold, Red and Green regions have now been incorporated into one single Australia country version. It sure would make an installation into Prepar3D v2 a lot easier once they have a native installer available, if England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland didn't have to be installed separately, one by one.

New LKPR Václav Havel Airport WIP Preview Video!
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. XHT Labs have just released a work-in-progress video showing the current status of their Prague airport project. Prague's Václav Havel Airport is the largest airport in the Czech Republic and used by millions of visitors every year, both D'André and I have travelled through there as well. I have to say that this looks extremely promising, they certainly seem to be adding a lot of details, and we hope that this will be reflected in the quality of the final product.
