Sialkot advancing rather nicely!

FSX. Same as with the Adelaide project, the Sialkot project has advanced on to the night lighting as well. But what's also caught my eye is the dense vegetation placed about the airport. A very realistic look indeed! This project had shaped out to be far more advanced and much better looking than I initially expected. Well done. I imagine release in early Sept as well.

Adelaide looking nice!

FSX. If it's one thing I have learned from following FS developments over the years, the night lighting is always among the very last tasks on a project. At the advanced stage of the night development depicted in the latest Adelaide shots, I might take a stab and say the developer just might be looking at an early September release. Either way, the project is looking nice indeed!

More Narita from WingCreation.

FSX. In an effort to show they are still actively working on the airport, WingCreation has published a few more shots of their upcoming Narita project. I personally wish this up-and-coming FS development team the very bast of luck in bringing a quality Narita product to market. god knows there are many Narita fans out there waiting patiently... I personally know some of these people...
ADX>>Update: The scenery will have Custom animated Jetways and Docking Systems!

FTX Global V1.1 Patch: the latest info.

FSX/P3D. In a statement from John Venema, Orbx still planning to release the FTXG V1.1 patch by the end of this month. Obviously, the focus has been to improve the lighting system even further including the street and vector lights as well. The team has also added intersection traffic and neon lights that glow in the city areas. They have also changed the yellow glow to be a little more orange based on customer feedback. Here are a couple shots. Looking great guys!

MilViz/ERS Bell 407. Progress continues.

FSX/P3D. Taking another look a the 407. Now the Nemeth Hind might be an awesome quality model, bit it's the MilViz Bell 407 that's at the top of my helicopter list this year. The texture shots are great and the night lighting even better! This will surely be a great release to the large list of aircraft addons MilViz is cranking out! Also stay tuned to my Stuka FirstLook coming later today.

Nemeth Mil Mi-24V "Hind" released!

FSX. the legendary helicopter developer: Nemeth Designs has rolled out their latest asskicker, the Mil Mi-24V "Hind" direct from Mother Russia baby! I remember all the way back to the Lago days when they released their Hind. It was one of the best quality helicopters of it's day. Today there are a few to choose from including the one recently released from Virtavia. But i'm sure you will make the right choice ;)

J170 coming along rather nicely!

FSX. If I haven't mentioned before, I just love little trainers like this and glad to see Iris moving into this market. Here are the latest renders of the Jabiru J170. Textures are for the J160 at the moment, but will feature 170 specific ones later on. As my Flight1 Skycatcher is is rotting in the hangar (due to Flight1's policy regarding P3D compatibility), this should be a nice replacement for training guests who visit and are intrigued by my simulator.

Polish Airports vol.1 FS9 imminent!

FS9. The product page is now online which means Polish Airports vol.1 for FS9 is now imminent. FS9 is also the platform I personally be using these sceneries in. They get great performance in P3D, but the heavy European airports I will flying from don't... They say the FS9 user base is shrinking, but it's still larger than the X-Plane user base. And that's saying something.

Aerosoft VFR Airfiends now on Simmarket!

FSX/P3D. Sure, these are nowhere near as good as your typical Orbx VFR scenery. However, if mainland Europe is your VFR wonderland of choice, then these airfields will do you just fine. The "VFR Airfields" product is a series of smaller and medium seized airfields some of which have been extracted from the well-known "German Airfield" packages that you can purchase individually without having to buy the whole package. Other airfields are completely new developments.

Akesoft La Cerdanya-X on final.

FSX. Akesoft has in the past released a few really good quality freeware airports and in the same time-frame has also previewed a few good looking works that never saw the light of day. The Akesoft La Cerdanya-X project is on final and is expected for release before the end of this month. These are the last shots before release.

MilViz Stuka released!

FSX/P3D. This screaming badboy was supposed to be released into our waiting hands earlier last week but some last minute hiccups postponed things a bit. No worry though, the guys at MilViz are very diligent and now it seems like things are in order to commence your bombing runs! The product page is up, check it out!
Update>>Finally, ready to dive!

PacSim Rarotonga: Our impression!

P3D. Where do I begin? Now normally, this would have been Dom's review article. I suppose you could say he had developers he took care of and I had developers I would take care of. But now giving the fact that ADX is now a 1 man show, I just can't let these developers not get the love they deserve. Thus, today is the very first time I have had an experience with a product from Pacific Island Simulations. I must say, damn good stuff here. First impressions are everything and PacSim did not disappoint me by any means and many of you know how picky I can be. So you want to come with me to Rarotonga? Sorry, no island girls but you can bring beer! Bandwidth Warning!

CoolSky/McPhat: Fokker 50. Sup?

FSX/P3D. Whats the deal with the Fokker 50? We were getting an influx of updates regarding this project from the beginning of the year and suddenly the updates just stopped. I really thought we would have some interior VC renderings by now. Hope all is well with the project but throw us a bone guys!

Aerosoft Brussles update!

FSX/P3D. This project is showing progress indeed. I was in love with the DFS Brussles when it debuted all those years ago and as Belgium goes, the airport was constantly overlooked and ignored in FS. It's really time for an updated version and we have some really talented teams working together on it. As always, when the updates come, i'll be here!

JF Canberra back with more.

FSX/P3D. The more I look at the PR9 the more I want it. You have to admit, there is some sort of sexiness to this aircraft. The lines, the bulkiness of it... the symmetry, complexity. Indeed i'll be in line once it comes out. One of those things that is just growing on me. And clearly, she photographs well too! Keep up the good work team!

Who's against the cabin?

FSX/P3D. A much bigger and better picture of the Razbam Metroliner cabin was just released and personally I think it looks quite good. There were a few of you coming out against the cabin being modeled into the model for various reasons but I quite like it and believe it will be a very fitting addition to this lovely aircraft. Besides, I am sure you anti cabin folks will be able to disable it in the .CFG anyway...

Orbx FTX NI Released!

FSX/P3D. Northern Ireland is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. Occupying the northern tip of Ireland, it shares a border with the Republic of Ireland to the West and South. FTX EU NIR includes a range of custom-built landscapes including farmland, plains and rolling hills to recreate the luscious green terrain that Northern Ireland is known for. It's officially released and you may now move about the NI countryside! Thanks Jens!

Next on ADX!

P3D. Tonight i'm heading back down to the South Pacific to check out PacSim latest masterpiece in the Cook islands! This is my very first look at a product developed by Pacific Islands Simulations and this team has left one hell of an impression on me. Stay tuned, the ADX FirstLook at Rarotonga is coming up later today and only on ADX! You know how I do it!

Alabeo R66 getting ready!

FSX/P3D. We'll blow me down! I... well... I just might say this is likely the best damn looking helicopter I have ever seen in FS. You can't tell me this baby isn't just beautiful. Look at it. Alabeo thus far hasn't ceased to amaze me. I am really looking forward to taking this baby up! My projection for release is early September. Check out these first textured shots of the Alabeo R66 Turbine in production!
ADX>>Billboard updated!

QualityWings. Here's the deal:

FS9/FSX/P3D. Per my "What's the deal" article regarding the status of QW and related development concerns, Lars from QualityWings has responded in regards to their development statuses and what the current game plan is. I maintain this one of my favorite development teams and whereas I am disappointed that the wait is far longer than I expected for the BAE-146, I do respect the communication and look forward to seeing what the team is able to deliver before the end of 2013.  Here is what Lars had to say:
