There's a New CRJ Development in Town...

FSX/P3D. Meet the new AWG Simulations, complete with a new logo, new website, and most importantly, new CRJ-200 project! Yes, the developer is currently in the process of developing a high quality CRJ-200 regional jet for FSX/P3D platforms. Although we don't have a comprehensive preview just yet, we are expecting some exclusives soon. Take a look inside for a first look at the project.

This project could complement the upcoming Aerosoft (DA) CRJ7/9 nicely.

The new corporate identity and early preview shot from the developers CRJ-200 project:

I wonder if this is their second try, I remember almost a year ago they tried to make a CRJ.

It is not a second try, the same project but we changed a few developers and rebooted it.

Looks good and nice to hear that it is still in the works. Hope the FDE issues are resolved Aaron. Looking forward to the beta's. And maybe its me but I think the old website was better. This is just ugly. But glad too see AWG alive

AWG website says:

News

CRJ-200, new preview images.

New preview images have been posted of the upcoming CRJ-200 aircraft for Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D. The images focus on the exterior model only. You can see them now on the product page.

Images? All I see is this:

Fail!

The exterior model looks bad too.

In time like these, developer mostly make addon's with transparent passengerwindows.

We have contacted Google regarding the issue and they are reevaluating the website. I can assure you that this is a false positive and our website is safe.

Kevin, what do you dislike about the new website? We need a specifics so we can improve the areas which need improved. Do you dislike the 'metro' feel?

Tthe windows will be modeled in 3D and will be transparent. The image is simply a place holder until we get more detailed ones and when we progress further.
People in the FS community are always yelping for previews early and as such we gave you an early preview. We are fully aware of the faults in the model and we are fixing them. We need your patience. It would be a wonderful world if we could have a complete and perfect model tomorrow, but we can't. These things take time.

It is a little too early to judge anything based on the one image posted so far...

But it is also a little misleading to state "images" when it is clear that there is currently one a single preview...

Here's hoping that you pull off a great rendition of this plane. It is a nice size and range for those short evening hops after work...

Aaron indeed the Metro feel is not my cup of thea but it is just to basic. It looks like a 6 year old has designed it. I really think your old site was better and more professional.
But thats my humble opinion.

We will consider your suggestions and make some adjustments in an upcoming site update. It is a new site so it is taking time to populate it thought I understand that the 'metro' feel doesn't suit everyone.
