FS9/FSX. Latin VFR has posted (again !) new screenshots of San Diego (Lindbergh Field) KSAN. A first clear sight of the jetways.

FSX. Justflight has just released a couple of teasers of their BAE / Avro freighter. Although we among others consider the CLS version to be inferior to QW's, I can already see many QW Avro fans purchasing the CLS now as this is one variant where QW failed us. Let's just hope they change their minds on this one.

[|FS Market]. Here is an updated list of developers who have not published any new FS projects since 2 months or more. That's okay, some of them might want to stay off to handle a heavy project. Problem is : if eveybody stops communicating, this Flight simulation market will be slowly dying.

SkyHighSim Belgrade on final

FSX/P3D. The Serbian team has finished the beta stage and is now packing the airport. Belgrad Nicola Tesla will also be available for P3D  and a light version might be released too, for low end computers. New shot here, although i was all the way disappointed by the quality of the preview shots (not the scenery itself).

Eastman KEZM confirmed

FSX. The Airport guys (Myrtle Beach airport) have confirmed that their mid-size airports package will also include Eastman KEZM airport. A new picture here.

Orbx EU England... this week end !

FSX/P3D. Orbx has announced that their latest mega scenery package (and first step in United Kingdom), will be available before the end of this week end.

Overland maybe? I really don't know.

FSX. We just got a tip from one of our loyal readers of some sort of pending Haneda project. Now we know Overland was working on this airport previously but they seemed to scrap it saying something to the effect of they weren't happy with the quality. Whatever the deal, this is an interesting find. As for quality, you be the judge.

Warsaw City FSX started.

FSX/P3D. Stan the Polish wizard and friends are well underway on cooking up Warsaw City for FSX. Just based on the first published screenshot, the resolution is very good!

FSX. A2A is showing off more exterior shots of the civilian Mustang. If you see one coming at you today it's really fun to see. Some 70 years ago, there was a lot of people where this was the last thing they ever saw. Soon, you will be seeing it every day! But hey, this is what A2A lives to do.

Digital Aviation CRJ!!

FSX. Finally we get some brand new shots of the Aerosoft / Digital Aviation CRJ. This project is YEARS in the making. As AWG seems to be a bit slow coming along on theirs, this is very much welcome and warm news for the regional jet. Just look at these lovely images! I'm excited!

Eastman-Dodge County unveiled

FSX. The Airport Guys, rather quiet after their good Myrtle beach, are still working on a regional airports package, including Concord airport. One of these is Eastman-Dodge KEZM.  Early shots have been published these last days, comparing real and virtual pictures.

Dubai. Our impression!

It's the product everyone has been praying for, been waiting for, been... dying for. The mastermind that is Martin of FlyTampa has done it again. Should I even say "again"? Because, if you ask me, this is a first in the history of home PC flight simulation. I don't honestly think a single FS product has ever been hailed as king the way everyone is talking about Dubai. The last product that even came close was Martin's own KatTak and even that is a far cry compared to Dubai. So, let's pack our bags folks because we are going on a FS9/FSX wild ride to the place everyone wants to be: DXB!  Bandwidth Warning!  With over 140 screenshots, this is my largest review ever. Even the Dubai scenery will run faster than this review if you have low or limited bandwidth!

JustPlanes Air Austral : our test

BlueRay. We have decided to buy and test one of JustPlanes latest titles, Air Austral in Blueray format. The high definition is perfect to understand how a cockpit is prepared and watch every button. But does this title worth the price ?

FSX. SanDiego is finally coming to life and there are 3 developers all over it. As we know, the guys at LatinVFR are currently progressing with the airport portion with the city part to begin shortly. It has also been slated for the next US cities project from Aerosoft. What you don't know, there is also a freeware version coming too!

As this is the month of ThanksGiving here in the US, I honestly wanted to take a moment to really say thanks to Martin for all the hard work he has done over the years. The Dubai project was a very long time coming and there is no developer more committed to flight simulation sceneries than him. This DXB project is likely to be the largest project ever taken on in FS and it's truly amazing by every facet of the word! So in the spirit of what we do in Dubai, here is a Hookah puff from me just for you Martin!
