I am sorry to disagree with you guys. In my opinion, no matter how they try, this is still landclass + vector data and so it looks like - generic. There is nothing amazing in that product if talking about technology. Roads are still place on buildings and parks, all rivers look the same. We had this already with UTX many years ago. Obviously ground textures are better, but come on, this is flight sim. Ground textures are not so important if they are not "compatible" with other vector data, which will be the case only with photorealistic ground textures. In my opinion this product is a money generator only - even more than http://www.megasceneryearth.com/store/ (which has BTW a high quality ground resolution). I would even prefer a low quality http://www.fsaltitude.com/ in terms of flight simulation and realism. At least it looks realistic from a cruise altitude.

This is a must-buy for me. If you understand what landclass based textures are, and what default FSX tries to accomplish, then having textures for the global made by the Orbx guys is a no-brainer.

I am not after amazing new technology, but I do want Orbx's brilliant textures all over the world, and it's priced cheaper than GEX so again - this is a compulsory purchase especially since the alternative products out there are so bad.

If you are are a flat as a pancake photoreal fanboy, that's great, but it's not for me. I fly VFR and low and slow and this product will give me effectively an Orbx sim, which what I am sure they realised their customers were after.
