FSX. FS Dreamteam has uploaded a second video of Vancouver CYVR. A matter of hours ?

It has truly been an amazing year and what was even more amazing is having the opportunity to serve you all over the past year. It's truly rewarding to see just how many people take time every day to visit our little blog. We have made many new friends and we are very proud of how much AirDailyX has grown. We both wish everyone a blessed holiday no matter what your religion may be. We are very fortunate to be able to enjoy this wonderful hobby we call flight simulation when so many don't have food to eat or clothes on their backs. Let's all take time today to call or visit our loved ones and take a moment to be thankful of all we have. After all, we have been blessed to endure another year of life. Rest assured, we are going strong and look forward to an even better 2013 full of FS news, reviews, and interviews!

Word of AI plans to shut down

[FS Market]. Announced today on their website, the famous FS community team World of AI,  is planning to shut down definitely in end of April 2013. No reason given. For years, this team has developed many packages of Artificial Intelligent aircrafts with real world airlines for FS.

Gold Coast almost ready

FSX. Flyhalf has given its Gold Coast YBCG to Ozx development team. Shots have been posted on FSDeveloper. This mid-size Australian airport will be the fourth project from Max Kraus. Beta tests almost finished. Imminent and compatible with Orbx Australia.

ORBX Chichester-Goodwood released !

FSX/P3D. The Australian international team, Orbx, has released the first scenery for EU England, the airfield of Chichester/Goodwood EGHR.

FSX. There are 2 high performance objects that share the designation 350i and we are not talking about the BMW. So it must be the King Air and I must say, MilViz has got me super excited! Now that I have a reasonably working FSX running, I am going FSX addon crazy!!

FSX/P3D. At last. Available. Ready to download. And it's not a disappointment if you stand for a few minors bugs on hardware parameters. Here is a small and modest review. A digest for those who did not buy it yet. There is so much to say about this eXtended Airbus. We like !

FSX. FS Dreamteam has apparently posted a first video in mid-september. At that time, Vancouver CYVR was still a work in progress, but  the video gives a good idea. And shows many shadows.

A new challenger to Topcat ?

L-1011 coming!

FSX. I miss the old DL and ATA L-1011's. Just 10 years ago there were a regular sight at my home airport. Sadly, I don't think any are flying anymore. But lucky for us, it's coming back! Let's just hope this will be a worthy payware model as many have tried and failed. I am looking forward to this!

Eurofighter on the way!

FSX. JustFlight has just announced the Eurofighter in development. The jet people shall want this!

Due before Christmas!

FSX. The CLS Bae-146 frighter is due before Christmas. Now in my opinion, the CLS is an inferior product to the QualityWings version but where it has the upper hand, is it comes with a freighter option, something QW is not planning.

FSX. Fabjo is showing some very nice shots of his Boise downtown scenery. I have been to Idaho myself but only in the very Northern most parts like Sandpoint. This should be nice to pair with the growing PNW scenery. Will be freeware!

Iris PC-21 getting close!

FSX. Iris is progressing on the texturing stage of it's PC-12 project. Looks like it may be ready by Christmas... hmm...

FSX/P3D. Before release that is! Words from the Polish Wizard: "The scenery is completed. I am currently building and testing the installer and preparing the documentation. The download size will be a about 4GB, mainly due to very good quality of ground textures. The product should be available tomorrow but I can't guarantee this because of the low transfer speed. We will do our best though."

Aerosoft Dr400-140B in Beta!

FSX. After his successful release of Belgrade for FSX, SkyHighSim is now returning to the other FS9 masterpiece, Tivat. The FSX version may likely be a completely new version. The only complaint of all products from SkyHighSim is the lack of AES.

What we are flying...

FS9/FSX. Milton Shupe and friends have just released their latest retro classic toy: the AVIA 57. This is a very high quality freeware model just released today and we simply love it. It's fun to fly, great for VFR flying and has great performance in STOL situations. It's a native FS9 model but should work just fine in FSX. Here are some mouthwatering pics to hold you over while you download.

Connecticut awful tragedy...

AirDailyX will never cease to repeat that Flight Simulation is not a classic video game. Flight Simulation mainly attracts Smart, mature and peaceful virtual flyers. Flight Simulation should be taught in schools and supported by authorities. ADX/DM.

FS9. Who woulda thought that approaching 2013, there would be developers still developing exclusively for FS9? SkySoft is very talented up and coming developer but the lack of AES largely keeps them under the radar of most simmers.
