FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. Hot on the heels of Orbx's 05S Vernonia Municipal Airport release, Orbx Fairoaks (EGTF) Airport is now available too! This is the first EU airport developed by Heiko Glatthorn and Andreas Hegi. Fairoaks is set in the beautiful English countryside between Chobham and Ottershaw in Surrey, England. The airport is mainly used by light aircraft, some of which are operated by its two resident training schools - Synergy Aviation and London Transport Flying Club, and as a maintenance airfield. Orbx's EGTF also models the well-known McLaren Technology Center, which is just a stone's throw away from the airfield and features its own heliport.

Looks good!
One to pick up in due course, at least to add to the growing list of places to get and visit!
At least I have a 750Gb SSD to put all this stuff on. Shame I currently have zero time to fly anywhere... at all...
Doesn't appear to available yet? I just looked.
It has definitely been released:

OK. Thanks Jerome. I think their website (FTX) has yet to reflect the fact that a third party is selling their software.
Hi Jean-Marc,
Well it's 00:44 CET now, so whoever is responsible for updating the webpage is most likely fast asleep.
Best regards,
Jerome
And another new Orbx airport that doesn't support P3Dv2, you have got to be kidding!
Great, while EU NIR gets the full P3Dv2 treatment, new scenery like Vernonia and Fairoaks are sold as FSX and P3Dv1 only? Am I supposed to use FSX or P3Dv1 for almost all Orbx products and P3Dv2 for just all of Ireland? That's just bullshit, what a disappointment!
I'm not buying anymore Orbx products until they sort out their issues with v2. I can't believe they're now releasing new scenery without v2 support.
Someone at Orbx didn't do their homework on what the McLaren buildings look like today:

No v2 support and they can't even get the landmark buildings right, what's up with that?
We announced a delay to P3Dv2 airports back on December 17th: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/69860-heads-up-new-orbx-airports-delayed-for-p3d2-waiting-for-objectflow/
This is due to our dependency on a third-party developed DLL to control all our airport objects, something that worked in P3Dv1.4 but which LM severely broke in P3Dv2. We would be silly to release an installer for an airport which did not function correctly. We'll be releasing P3Dv2 installers as soon as this DLL has been coded and debugged. Thanks for your patience (and we don't need this being spammed for each ADX topic, thanks guys).
Why do all the dudes commenting on P3Dv2 have such generic first-name last-name combos?
It's like all the names I could whip up off the top of my head if I needed a to make a crowd real quick...
Oh you mean like the name you are using? Or did your parents actually name you that?
That additional building is fairly recent and was obviously not on the imagery that OrbX had available. You'll be wanting your own house next...
Maybe they can add it as a ptach later, who knows. Either way, the round structure with the lake is the landmark enough...
It's right on my birth certificate ;)

Just bought this one and though it looks good, it runs sluggishly on my system even though I've turned a lot of things down/off using the control panel? It just seems that I've bought so many ORBX sceneries now (especially YBBN and Alice Springs) which are performance poor? I have so many other sceneries to compare it with and that's how I am able to compare. I don't understand how a scenery like Fairoaks can be such a drain on my system when sceneries like Sim720's Oban and Caernarvon perform so well? The only impressive ORBX sceneries I own are Broome and Southampton but the others all seem to suffer with performance issues? Any ideas anyone?
