Milviz Bell 407 Released!

 http://airdailyx.blogspot.com/2013/12/milviz-bell-407-released.html
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. Firstly I wish to say Merry Christmas to everyone! As D'André has already pointed out, we're going to be doing our best to continue to provide you with news and updates over the holiday season.

One of the most anticipated helicopter releases of this year is surely the outstanding Milviz Bell 407. The Bell 407 is an Allison Model 250 powered multipurpose light utility helicopter, with an advanced four-blade main rotor and is basically an updated 206-L4 LongRanger IV.

Although its basic weight has increased by around 135 kg from that of the L4, its maximum take-off weight has increased by 250kg to 2.270kg, with the permitted external load weight of 2.500 kg having increased by 455kg. The Bell 407's 605kW (815shp) Allison 250-C47 engine has been derated to new increased transmission limits of 305kW, thereby allowing it to maintain its performance at higher temperatures and altitudes.

The Milviz model of the Bell 407 is a highly detailed replica of its real-life counterpart, and was created by using high-quality digital photos. The Milviz Bell 407 package features:

- Realistic startup and shutdowns
- Realistic systems and avionics
- A high quality external model using normal and specular maps
- A high resolution paint kit
- High quality sound set recorded from a real 407
- Custom realistic DX10/DX11 night lighting, landing lights and effects
- Flight dynamics by Brandon Filer and Chuck Jodry
- Extensive testing and tuning by real pilots
- Four liveries

If you haven't already seen my previously posted videos of the highly recommended Milviz Bell 407 in action during the beta testing phase, here they are again:

Below you will find some screenshots from various test flights around the French Alps:

As for James Beek's "insightful commentary", can you smell the troll?

This looks like a great addon that I am sure many will enjoy. I am very tempted to give this one a go.

Colin sent it over and even though it's Christmas i made some time for it and its one if MilViz' best addons ever. The internals and external visuals are right on par with Carenado / Alabeo. Keep your eye on these guys.

@ Jason Beek

The only thing worthless and unneeded here is you and your comment. May 2014 bring you many massive hard disk failures!

We will refrain from publishing any further comments from Mr. Beek.
