FSX/P3D. Of course not. But I actually noticed about a week ago some FSDT products were listed on PC Aviator. I thought it very interesting but didn't think much of it until I noticed FSDT JFK V2 is now listed on Simmarket. Honestly, I never thought FSDT would ever, EVER, sell their products through a 3rd party webshop. I know the main reasons FSDT sold their products directly was not only to avoid having to share the cost of selling through 3rd parties, but there were some disagreements in the far past of how Aerosoft handled the sales and promotions Virtuali products like Florence. What really begs the question though, is the esellerate activation system still compulsory? And why is this happening at all?
The entire FSDT catalogue is now available at PC Aviatior Australia and Simmarket!

This is why PMDG trashed you guys. Rumors you guys spread are annoying as hell. Maybe he just wants more money like we all do. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.
It's a blog idiot. Doesn't take a genius to figure out satire. Duh, obviously they want to make more money. People like you have no since of humor at all whatsoever so please go back to Avsim and stop using this blog for your news. Clearly this place is not for you.
Honestly, I wish you and those like you would stay off ADX. If you don't visit, you have nothing to trash talk about. Stick to the places that make you comfortable and cozy.
Bit harsh Michael. PMDG didn't 'trash' ADX, one of their developers did - who clearly regretted posting that comment very soon after posting it given how pathetic it made PMDG look to attack a blog.
wo wo guys -keep it cool!!! I didnt belive too that FSDT is going down. But why you say "Italians"? We are a Community bro.
I think it's really more just about expanding their market and getting more eyes onto their product. In the end, they will make more income doing this through higher sales. Developers that limit their sales through 1 retailer or through their own store only can never really get close to market saturation. In fact, no product ever gets full market saturation regardless, you can only get a percentage of it. The higher the percentage, the more the developer makes.
FSDT is an Italian dev team. That was the joke as its well known FSDT is among the biggest and most profitable companies that they never needed 3rd party sales. So its a bit of a surprise from this team in particular. The joke is they would have to be going broke to ever make this decision. Honestly, im quite confident the company is doing just fine and are simply looking for a method to get there product to a larger part of the community. But that is just my own speculation.
My thoughts exactly. This team has been around for years. Makes me wonder why they didnt make the move sooner...
As other mentioned, I also believe it’s a good choice to diversify how their products are distributed. It works for Fly Tampa why not FSDT. I think this guy’s well surprise us in the near future. They have been very consistent innovating new ideas and customer requests.
your, you're ... there, their, they're ...
Let's have a little respect for the English language. This isn't a hip-hop blog. FSDT is simply trying to generate some additional cash flow between major releases. I don't think they're ready to sell their Porshe's yet.
How about a little respect for the person delivering your news. What exactly are you doing?
I am aware my sphelling can be off from time to time but in most cases, I have literally 60 seconds to write up a post. So how about throwing in a correction reminder for me instead of being a trolling jerk?
See that's not so hard! Cheers!
Who really cares what PMDG says anyway?
Yeah its a cash flow problem FSDT is going under with all the issues I have had with there airports I am not surprised.
Simmarket has the largest online product catalogue as far as I know, so it makes sense to list your products there.
Oh Stewardess, I speak Jive.
