You know, I do believe there's been some subtle yet significant changes in the general visual appearance since the last preview. Its nice to see that constructive criticism and feedback can sometimes lead to an 'almost there' scenery into having the specific recommended changes/additions made to alter the whole outlook on it. Well done AA, whether it was just very recent WIP a few days ago or based on general feedback, the subtle general ground changes do bring it on par with the previous Phuket and Samui sceneries I bought. Await the ADX reviews/You tube etc on this keenly with anticipation. If Flightbeam or Fly Tampa (I won't change my personal view and strong personal reasons for wanting that some day, too long to explain that old thing) or the like to make this again with their version some day in the future, I'd buy them too but this now seems a respectable and useable effort in the mean time, provided performance is decently usable this time round. Good effort with the worthwhile changes since last screenies (much better, removed general ground flaws from my viewpoint anyway) and the best of luck in striving to improve as you go. It should at least go into one of my sims and depending on the reviews, possibly make it into two of them even until the cycle repeats or an even better one comes out, so one copy should at least sell. Looking forward to you getting your hands on it and the reviews guys. Thanks again ADX for the close following and updating of such international projects.

Best regards,
Sid

needs work...needs a patch. So Far the AC shadows don't show on taxiways and runways. Bit hard on Fps without Rex clouds and flight Aerosoft ABX-E. Overcast maybe an issue. I am; however, running everything under 4096 tex....but I don't see these issues with others like Flytampa / 29Palms, Taxi2gate etc. Hate to say it but the work is a bit on par with the techniques use for freeware LIRF.

Why don't aircraft shadows work? Looks unrealistic without shadows.....

I agree but shadows adversely affect frame rates in FSX. Thats why developers 'bake' (paint) shadows on objects. FSX is really half-baked software and certainly not "as real as it gets."

Can anyone give a comparison to VTBS from Armi project?

Is it better than the default? what sceneries have you released in comparison??

if lack of aircraft shadows in the biggest complaint the developer did a good job

That would be really really useful. Good question mate! Anyone?

I think ADX can do it.

I jumped over to SimMarket to look at the one released by Armi Project. The textures and modeling look better from A_A in my view.

Hope so...Sounds like it'd prove useful to a few of us Daniel.

Hey gang for clarity, I don't want you to misinterpret my comments regarding AC shadows . What I am saying is that they have my money and as such it is deserving of a patch.

Yes, I agree its better than the default. Yes, if the shadows are the only issue then they have done quite well.
I'm just advising in the early stages what I'll uncovered with this purchase.
Don't get me wrong the scenery is good, but I had anticipated it to be much better. And without the opportunity to demo it I jumped in to purchase validating my support in this company/Developer
