Now this is not an article about flight simulation but I thought I would take a quick break from the norm and share with you about an awesome TV show I discovered on NETFLIX last week. It’s called Flying Wild Alaska and we love it!!
The TV show is centered on the upper West region of the US state of Alaska and features the indigenous Alaskan airline: ERA Alaska. This show follows the dangerous conditions of flying in this region as well as featuring the 70+ turboprop fleet. The most common aircraft in the fleet include the Beechcraft 1900C and D, de Havilland DHC-8-100, Cessna 207 Stationair, Cessna 208 Caravan, Cessna 180 Skywagon, Piper PA-31 Chieftain, and more.
I included a YouTube clip below to give you an idea of what the show is about. So if you are a fan of bush flying like me, then you’ll love this show.
