QualityWings 737 Classic Now In Development!

FSX/P3D. Do not adjust your picture, what you see is real! Announced just moments ago, QualityWings has officially announced the Ultimate 737 Classic Collection to their future product lineup! Now you might be asking, will it be good? We'll based on QW's previous performance regarding quality, the answer is a "no-brainer" it will be good. But the icing on the cake? This is the resumption of the Enigma Simulations 737 project and I am not surprised. After all, the Avro/Bae project was rescued by QW from another development team. I am personally excited to see the Enigma 737 project continue and there is no better team than QualityWings to see it come to fruition! Great news!
ADX>>Our top news!

The following developers have joined the QualityWings team:
  • Martyn Becker
  • Jordi Blumberg
  • Tom Koffeman
  • Kyle Schurb
  • Ron Waite
See anyone you recognize??

These folks have previously been part of the Flight Simulator Community in various capacities, and have most recently been part of Enigma Simulations (where many of you may have seen this product previously). This 737 Classic Series began it's development at Enigma, but will take shape and mature under the QualityWings brand.

The team will provide more information about the scope of the 737 in the coming months as things start to take shape. The Ultimate 737 Classic Series will include the following Passenger models:
  • 737-300
  • 737-400
  • 737-500
  • EFIS and Non-EFIS flightdecks
  • Winglet models
Systems programming will be on par with (and may exceed in some areas) the Ultimate 146.

So there you have it folks! This project is alive and well and I wish all the best to this fantastic company built with some of the very best developers in the business.

Thanks to all the readers who emailed me on this one! My iPhone woke me up with all the noise!

Umm, don't mean to be a party pooper, but their products aren't considered very realistic or nice looking...
seriously, their 146 looks like a fs9 addon and its system are not very in depth.

so I am not really excited about this one.

Wonderful news! There is no doubt QW is going strong, and they have plenty of good stuff in store for us in 2014. Good to see QW pick the Enigma project, this means it will see the light of the day.

great news

Keith.. from the above I conclude QW didn't model the 146.. some other team did and then came under QW to continue it. Ofc, correct me if I'm wrong.

As for the 737, the model was done by Enigma and looks spectacular.. the Enigma team moved with the aircraft under the QW brand and will continue to work on it so it's not done the same method as the 146 or 757. Their 787 seems like a native QW project, which I think 757 was as well, but it's been a long time since then and I think they are more experienced now. Hopefully it shows within these two projects.

vey nice news Hope the team will consider no-eyebrow models too.

These are good news because Enigma project seemed to be lost, and it was one of the best looking.

QW is a good team, and now there are new members, so the project remains in the same hands. Good luck!

No doubt! This is going to be a great airplane.

@joan:

Patched eyebrows is a good idea. You would still see the outlines. But "no eyebrows" can't be an option.

@Adi: The 146 was started under a different brand but by the same people who already worked at QW. Instead of releasing it under a new company name it was brought over to QW. So talking about the developers, this has always been a QW-Team project. So you can consider the 146 being QW native.

All I can say is, I had been following the 146 project for almost 2 years before QW took it over but indeed Lars would be most correct. If it's the same crew, then that's a great thing! I never knew the full story...

Thank goodness someone is finally doing a 737. There just aren't many good 737 choices out there.

Hey, D'Andre, what happened to FSDeveloper?

Hmm, only FSX support and not P3D V2?

Nice to see this project alive. And very exciting to see it being in charge of QW.

Wasn't the Enigma 737 going to be a study-sim very similar to the NGX in systems? I'm glad that QWSIM decided to pick this up but now the systems will be "par with (and may exceed in some areas) the Ultimate 146."
We will just have to wait and see...

you can say both good and sad.. as I have hoped Enigma Simulations could have done it by them self.. as it sounded promising.. not that i have anything to sad bad about QWsim.. just sad it had to be this way..

@Todd look up FSDeveloper's facebook. They are having issues with the DNS. For now you can get to the FSD site via the IP address they have posted.

@Todd:

The DNS entry seems to be gone. Use the direct link http://173.233.77.148/forum/ until this problem will be fixed.

Great news ! Since Dreamfleet´s 737 we are waiting for a 300/400/500 version, and QW is definitly the ones who are able to comply our high expections.

Will they have non-winglets model, hope they do, don't know why but i prefer the 737 Classic with no winglets.

I've heard from those who've been given the chance to try it that systems are almost at or on par with the NGX. I am definitely looking forward to this one!

Extremely happy to see this project being resumed. The BAe146 project is excellent, and I'm sure this 737 will be the same quality.

I’ve been following Engma Simulation since the announcement of the 737 classic was made. It is a good pairing in my opinion between Engma and Quality Wings. I have high hopes for the two teams and look forward to their future collaboration. Both teams are great interacting with their customers.
