XPL. Now we don't officially cover X-Plane products as yet. However, Carenado has just announced it's first X-Plane exclusive project for the platform. So the question is, will this Baron find it's way into FSX or FS9 down the road? Hmm.. interesting indeed. EDIT: Stupid me...

Cessna C.182 T : Our own screenshots

FSX. First, Carenado returns to the Cessna Skylane 182 (model T), after some two years of improvements across other aircrafts. Second, this Skylane includes the "glass cockpit" Garmin G1000. I am specialy impressed by the clear rendition of the external model.

FSX. "AFlight's" Vantaa is cming closer to home with these latest very impressive photos. This is one extremely talented developer and we're very impressed. AFlight has stated they will look into an FS9 version when the FSX version is released.

A quick chat with George of FlyTampa

A while back you may recall an article published by Dominique regarding some issues a few major developers are experiencing with the P3D platform and 3DS Max. These issues are causing major delays in scenery development. We did get to hear from Umberto of FSDT on some of these issues a while back. Today, I am sitting with George Grimshaw who is going to shed a bit more light on the subject.

LHSim AI traffic pack released!

FS9. The FS9 version of the ai traffic pack by LH simulations has just been released. Finally those beautiful Hungarian airports can come to life a bit more! There is also a FSX version in the works but this version will work for FSX with just 1 quick and minor tweak.

FSX. Espen has announced that the DC-9 manuals are now available for download. And free. Very good training before handling the beast.

New previews of France VFR Photo

FSX. The french designer is working on another region, Poitou-Charentes, in the north of Aquitaine. Many people are probably waiting for VFR sceneries after Haute-Normandie. Buy.. or pass and wait for a new Alsace VFR...

FSDG Heraklion X : Hot test !

FSX. Greece is becoming a nice country for simmers. After Fly Tampa's Athens and Emilios's Corfu X, now Heraklion, done with FSDG's touch.

Truscenery announces next project.

FSX/P3D/XPL. Truscenery, an X-Plane developer has announced they are working on methods to export their current work to FSX. Whereas we are seeing a lot of FSX developers export work to X-Plane these days, to my knowledge, this is the first developer to export XPL>FSX. The quality of work is amazing. But don't take my word for it. look for yourself.

Forget Batman!

FSX/P3D. I'm going with Robin!! The lovely Bill has shown off more of his upcoming DR400 in development. One of the best trainers in the world. Looking beautiful. I think this one will come before the Aerosoft model.

I've been sayin this all along!

FS9/FSX. I really wish the FlyTampa guys did this with all those awesome boats cruising around TFFJ and TNCM. I'm talking about a moving boat with a solid land-able helicopter pad. Well finally we will see this in the upcoming Mykonos scenery. That's going to be fun! 29Palms has a good rap on this one!
