FSX/P3D. I'll admit. The PMDG-777 truly is the most saught after product for 2013. In second place was the Majestic Q400, in third, the MilViz 737-200c. So while we continue to wait. Feel free to have a laugh. I even composed a little satire based on some of the debates that have taken place here on ADX. Funny or not, shit's gonna get real serious once this thing is released!
Saw this one on Facebook. Hehe!

I am betting on a november-ish release.
I prefer to pass the time by asking the fanboys about the workings of the weather radar and taxi camera...
Why do you think its going to be 2013's ?? it maybe 2014's product :P
No, definitely 2013 August product because when PMDG claims somethings then it's gonna happen. Unless they've some kind of problem, but I don't think so. I think we are just a post away from release.
... as the Enigmasim 737?!?
Ok, I loved the Star Trek one. Good points made, and as I said before, I am through holding my breath. The hospital is tired of reviving me. I went with the Captain Sim 777 and it suits me just fine. Made sometime down the road after all the fanboys have taken in the PMDG 777 and all the bugs and service packs are taken care of, I may check it out.
I wonder what your opinion is on the fact that the data fee for PFPX is apparently going to be at 14.9€, with the first yr being paid as part of the initial purchases with the software.
Oh yeah, by the way ... POOF ... SURPRISE !!!
Honestly i'm fed up to wait
If You look out all the videos realized by beta test team on youtube etc it's clear that the airplane is ok to be released, maybe everythings is not perfect and so what have you ever seen a perfect project
I'm betting the 777 PMDG will be patched at least twice SP1, SP2...Even if it's released in 2014 it will never be a perfect project... so i don't understand why we have to wait so long, i think it's unjustified, It should be better to use the FS World Community's feedback to improve the project
That's my point of view
I´m sure that if they release it now, and even only small bugs are found, customers will turn the question around and ask why they didn´t wait until it was more finished.
Regardless what they do, it can always be turned against them, and presently it has become "fashion" by the community to act exactly that way, at least by the loud voiced part.
But, how could you get Star Trek to make a funny comment? It is Star Trek!!
I suposed you to be more professional... :)
About PMDG, I though the release was inminent weeks ago when "betas" started with videos, but we're still on august, let's see.
Although I will go for the T7, in fact I am very more interested in the DC-6
Crucified if they do, crucified if they don't...
When the team thinks it is time, you will see it released. Yes, there will probably be a service pack or two, but that is the nature of software. I do not know a single package in software in ANY field that is totally bug-free on release...
Pirx, I agree with your final statement entirely. I will be getting the Trip7 like many others, though I really want to see that DC-6 on the shelves... I only wish someone of PMDG/A2A calibre would go and do the DC-3/C-47...
A
I'm wetting my pants with anticipation......not.
FSL A320
PMDG 777
PMDG DC-6
PMDG Wood Pigeon
A2A C172
PFPX
Frankfurt Airport
There are a lot mot things to wait for...
And it's clear you don't know what you're talking about.
We show you videos of things that WORK. We don't make videos highlighting all the bugs and things that don't work.
There have been a number of builds since we started beta testing it, and many things have been fixed since then.
When PMDG is comfortable with the state the product is in, they will release it.
As beta testers we're helping them get there.
If you're uncomfortable waiting for a product to be finished, then you're more then welcome to buy one of the many other 777's available for purchase for FSX.
