OH dear, just look at that first shot, how the vector roads just cut across the roads and 3d buildings of the landclass scenery! The Earth Simulations input is visually apparent because the 3D autogen looks very much like that from their Shawbury Fields scenery. If this was photoscenery we'd be right to be impressed, and if you don't know the areas at all you may not really notice too much, but if you know what an area should look like you will probably feel a bit let down. For example, take Iain Emms first shots from over Barrow In Furness. The dockyard area is shown as green fields and trees, which clearly isn't right. The still screenshots look good if you don't look too closely, but the trade off in realism is too much for me I'm afraid!

Isn't that how FSX is supposed to work unfortunately. If you don't like this you should immediately go for XP10 which is free of this issue.
I think you'll be happy sticking with your photo scenery. Me, I can't wait for this.
Flame war? I'm no fanboy, just honestly saying if you're happy with photo scenery, you should keep it.
