FSX. Amateurs of the french Haute-Normandie are already quivering when they hear about France VFR "VFR" range Alsace. 2 more glimpses of Strasbourg under 3D automation process today. But something tells me that a few of these classical photoreal sceneries will be released first. 3d automation sceneries from this designer are fireworks, but fireworks are only launched once a year...

I own the photoreal Basse Normandie and the VFR Haute Normandie, both are extremely well done for their product lines (though upgrading Basse Normandie to the VFR line would be even more amazing ;) ). Alsace doesn't look like it will disappoint either!
Although, there is something that could improve the look of the autogen, and maybe it's a design limitation because I don't see many developers doing this, but adding ambient shading to the autogen textures to give them some more life and depth would go a long way, IMO. I'm not talking about scenery casting real-time shadows, but texture bakes around the base of the objects to make them look 'rooted' to the ground, different sides of the buildings are have different shading, that kind of shading that can be applied to the textures themselves like some aircraft developers do.
